The School of Economics, Finance and Management has an international reputation for research excellence. Faculty members in the School regularly publish in top international journals and the School is expanding following substantial recent success in research funding applications. The MSc is an intensive one-year programme providing you with the body of knowledge and skills that are expected of a professional economist, either one who is going on to do independent research for a PhD or one who is going to work as an economist.
